Please note: ‘We’ refers to Pretty Neat Studios and its employees, ‘you’ refers to any customer or individual using the website or placing an order with us.

All prices are subject to change. Orders will be charged at the price shown on the date the order is made. Written quotations are valid for 60 days.

Due to the bespoke nature of our work, a firm quotation will only be given once design work has been completed. Prior to this, following a consultation, a rough estimate will be provided. Estimates will be labelled as such and prices may be subject to variation.

Following acceptance of an estimate for large stationery orders, a £100 deposit will be required upon confirmation of the order, but before the commencement of design work. A further 50% payment of the remaining balance is payable upon completion of design work and before production begins, followed by a final payment for the remaining amount prior to delivery. For smaller items or orders, full payment is required within 14 days.

Where possible payment should be made by BACS transfer to the bank details shown on the invoice. Alternative payment methods can be provided upon request. Deposits/part deposits are only refundable at our discretion (see Cancellations, Refunds & Refunds).

Bespoke design work is charged at a rate of £20ph. For large stationery orders, a standard design fee of £150 is charged which allows for 7.5 hours design work, including amendments.

Having placed an order with us, a digital mock up (visualisation) of your stationery will be e-mailed for your approval. If amendments are required, these will be completed free of charge until the allotted design fee has been used up. Further amendments will be charged at a rate of £20ph. Once production has begun, no further amendments can be made, unless at our discretion. These may incur an additional charge and may delay delivery times.

Customers are responsible for providing their own wording for any stationery ordered. This should be emailed to us as a word document. Please ensure spelling, grammar and use of capitals are correct and that all information is accurate, as we cannot be held responsible for any mistakes once proofs have been approved by you.

Small samples of stocked materials can be requested free of charge at any time. For large, repetitive stationery orders such as invitations, the opportunity to see a full physical sample will be offered following the completion of design work.

For larger stationery orders we recommend allowing a minimum of 2-3 months from initial enquiry to delivery. For smaller, individual products 2-3 weeks is sufficient. Whilst we can sometimes accommodate rush jobs, this will be done at our discretion.

Due to the nature of the laser cutting process, it is possible that a slight burn may be visible, particularly in intricate areas and on paler coloured material. This is a normal result of the production process and we will advise you in advance if we feel it may be problematic. Please be aware that when working in wood, slight differences in colour and grain (e.g. knots) may be visible. These minor variations are unavoidable in a natural material.

Images and descriptions on the website, particularly those concerning size, colour and texture are designed to demonstrate as clearly as possible the products on offer, however, our sample and proofing services will offer a more accurate representation.

Orders are subject to availability of materials from our suppliers. Where sourcing/supply of materials proves difficult we reserve the right to use substitute materials of a similar quality. We will contact you in advance to discuss the alternative options available should problems with this arise.
All our products are hand finished to the highest standard and will be quality checked at every stage of the process, leaving our studio in perfect condition. Minor variations due to any of the above mentioned will not constitute grounds for refund or return.

For large stationery orders a standard charge of £10 for next day, tracked & signed-for delivery will apply. Postage of smaller items will be based on size and weight and is usually no more than £2-£5.

All items will be suitably packaged and sent via Royal Mail or courier service. Packages should be checked for damage before being accepted, as responsibility for the package transfers to the customer upon receipt. We should be notified of any discrepancies with the order within 48 hours of delivery.

Unfortunately due to the bespoke nature of our stationery, we are not able to accept returns. Please notify us as soon as possible via e-mail if you wish to cancel or modify an order. No refunds can be issued once production has begun and modifications are only allowed, at our discretion, if the production process permits. Refunds are issued at our discretion only.

We reserve the right to use samples and images of any products made for you for the purpose of advertising and promoting our business e.g. Photographic images presented on our website. However, we will undertake to anonymise these as far as possible and will not make use of any image prior to your event without your permission.

All designs remain copyright of Pretty Neat Studios. Website content, artwork and samples are for personal use only and may not be downloaded, copied, or used commercially without prior permission from Pretty Neat Studios.

Please also be aware there may be copyright issues in relation to reproducing certain images and text for use in wedding stationery. Any images provided by you as inspiration of work created by anyone other than us can be used for inspiration alone and cannot be directly copied.

Pretty Neat Studios cannot be held liable or deemed in breach of contract for any delays or failure to provide services when caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Such events may include (but are not limited to): Fire, flood, mechanical breakdown, power failure, theft, war, strikes and labour disputes.
